The nineteenth season of the American animated sitcom South Park premiered on Comedy Central on September 16, 2015, and ended on December 9, 2015, containing ten episodes. As with most seasons of the show, all episodes are written and directed by series co-creator and co-star Trey Parker. The Blu-Ray and DVD sets were released exclusively to Best Buy on August 16, 2016, and were available worldwide on September 6. Much like the previous season, this season features an episode-to-episode continuity, with political correctness as a recurring theme. This season introduced PC Principal as a new major character, replacing South Park Elementary's previous principal, Principal Victoria. This season featured planned "dark weeks", weeks where no new episodes aired. These were after episode three, episode six, and episode eight.

Still one of the funniest animated comedies of all time. Why is South Park so great?

It's good to see that South Park is still going after it debuted on TV in 1997. From there, TV would never be the same again. Year after year South Park has always pushed the boundaries with political correctness, with no topic or group of people spared. With that South Park is certainly no stranger to controversy, with many parent groups in an uproar over its subject matter, as well as various religious groups protesting their disapproval of the show. Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have never backed down nor tiptoed around the controversy.

I watched the first several seasons religiously when it first aired in 1997 however since then I did lose interest in the show. Just recently I have started watching the show again out of curiosity and I found myself laughing which renewed my interest in South Park. Sure the toilet humour and sex related jokes go too far sometimes, but there is no denying that South Park is still the funniest show still on air and unlike other shows has not been showing any signs of running out of steam any time soon.

It is sad that there are people that watched 2-3 episodes of South Park on TV and they probably think what is this childish crap.Well they cant be more wrong. South Park is one of the smartest TV shows ever. It is true that the last 2 seasons are not so great but every real fan who watched all the episodes will enjoy them too. Character development is so amazing in the show if you are watching from the beginning. Everything always seems stupid and unrelated but that is what makes it funny. Every episode actually ends with 2 or 3 messages that you can take from them. You will laugh at the very stupid stuff but you will end up loving the show for more reasons then just that. Watch the first season and you will not regret it! Cheers

South Park continues to excel as perhaps the best show on television( in my opinion at least). While the last few seasons hinted at a possible downtrend, the current season has been hilarious, smart, clever and downright enjoyable. Some people look at the show and they see the crude humor and the sometimes offensive positions taken by the characters. However, South Park is so much more than that. It tackles many different events that occur in the world in a smart and funny way. Matt Stone and Trey Parker always find the best way to parody the major events in the world. Everything they put into each episode is supposed to be there, even though it may seem offensive or disgusting. In order to truly appreciate South Park, you have to look past the obvious things, and look at the meaning behind the things that are said and the actions that the characters do; because when this happens, you see the true magic that makes South Park one of the best shows on television.

While many of the TV haters think of south park of a inappropriate immature show that is all about how vulgar and explicit we can be or how gross and how many fart jokes we can make which in that case they mistaken this show with family guy. Instead of the funniest and best written adult animated TV. Which is all about how kids act naturally aka when there is no adults around and if you ever been to a public school now a days it is way to accurate. South park also usually has its own message at the end For example It hits the fan a episode many people thought was just how many times can we use the s word uncensored on TV, but were wrong when the whole message of that episode was why are certain words different and offend people when other words don't and a very good point why is OK for TV dramas to curse and say curse words when a animated show wants to everyone flips out shown in this episode which features the s word 182 times.
