Film description:

Boardwalk Empire season 3 begins on New Year’s Eve of 1923. Nucky Thompson’s positions are becoming shakier. Even though nobody can be compared to him when it comes to closing deals and looking for partners, fortune seems to be leaving him. Family life is falling apart as well: his wife Margaret is turning to his enemy as she is becoming more righteous and strikes blows one after another. She organizes courses dedicated to female body, labor, conception etc. for poor women at a local hospital. Despite that, she is having an affair with her husband’s assistant Owen Sleater – an Irish guy who helps Nucky kill traitors. Owen and Margaret keep their affair secret as long as they can and are planning to flee away. Nucky’s weakness is taken advantage of by his enemies – Gyp Rosetti, a vulgar and cynical gangster, who decided to take over the Atlantic City, is one of them.
