Film description:

From the first episodes, we get to know the central antagonist in Mentalist tv series. Red John is not just another criminal who killed nine women and one man, he is a real mastermind murderer. His face is always in the shadows or masked. So till the end of the show we won’t know who the criminal is. The money does not attract him. Thus, in the scene of murder casino owner, he gives money to unfamiliar girl for treatment of her mother. Besides, John is the direct perpetrator of the death of Patrick’s family, he is a killer of his wife and daughter. Everyday Patrick is tormented by memories of his family and suffers from insomnia. He does not care about the tragedy, but he can’t avoid the loss of them. Patrick is more humane than the aforementioned heroes; his personality is not so difficult to understand. His character is open, cheerful and not boring. He did not roll in witty phrases and provided a stream of abstruse scientific terms right and left, though sometimes kept too arrogant. As for the Mentalist in general, in each series, you jump in with an insane interest. You think all the time about tho who can be a killer? It takes a little time, and you suspect the other, it’s hard to predict the man who was wearing a “mask”. The most interesting part of tv show is to watch how Jane reveals criminals…

Fantastic! Genius!

It is one of the best shows ever I mean I don't like investigation programmes like "Law and Order" or "CSI". But I am glued to this all the time! I love the plots and I always love the ones when they try to find Red John it is so interesting and it is funny as well! Like when Jane was temporarlly blind and he asked for a cup of coffee and they all rushed out and Rigsby was left.I was rolling on the floor at his bad luck.

I rated it a 10 because it deserved it and it is Just brilliant and the fact that he cando all that just by paying attention is excellent. Simon Baker is brilliant in this and so is Robin Tunney.This show is absolutely one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life.

I absolutely love this show more and more with every episode. This series has an excellent cast with the charming Simon Baker leading and the beautiful Robin Tunney as his sidekick. The writers have done an brilliant job with the cat and mouse games between red john and Jane up until now so with their brilliance i am looking forward to see where they will take this series. Season 6 has already been a epic one with the mid season finale shocker that a lot of us thought we would see in a season finale for a few seasons now. In conclusion I love where the show is heading because i personally didn't see a future when red john was caught but now i am more compelled then ever to watch how it unfolds.

I would compare Jane with Hercule Poirot; he plays the same games of mind. His way to take it all reveals us a man relaxed, whom methods are always about to gain. I really could never get bored of Simon Baker's character. His smile like "I know what I'm doing and I'm doing well" is outstanding, like his smile. Lisbon would be a great lover for him. I mean, it can be seen that they have a connection and they do not want to hide that aspect. Great written, perfect cast and very interested audience! Keep going! Every story from every episode keeps you in the middle of the story every minute. I think that there could be moments where Patrick Jane could be more romantic, to leave away the logical moments once in a while, it would be a great melange between mister, crime, psychology and love, like a little moment of chilling with the character. On the other hand, Rigsby and Cho are the perfect choice. The character fit amazing with all they have to give to the people.

One thing that makes this series so enjoyable is the humour. My favourite 'funny' line was when Rigsby and Cho were tasked to question some teenagers. Rigsby said "I hate interviewing teenagers - it's like talking to mud". How very true!

Simon convinces as an American, because he is an Aussie! Taswegians (Tasmanians) don't have strong Aussie accents like others on the mainland. Taswegians? Well, that is because mainland Aussies think of that 'little island' below the continent is foreign!

One small niggle is that the series has got hung up on 'Red John'. Please move on fellas!
