Film description:

In Hell on Wheels season 2 Cullen Bohannon continues his way along the constructed First Transcontinental Railroad. Having revenged himself for the murder of his wife and son he comes back home to find their graves ruined. Another wave of hatred engrosses him. Cullen decides to change his life by going to Mexico where the ghosts of the past will not haunt him but he needs a mint of money for a trip like that. Bohannon loses any respect for law and turns to theft, holding up the passing-by trains. He gets to prison for the committed crimes and is sentences to death for killing an innocent person. However, he manages to escape the prison with the help of Durant. Cullen realizes that his life is now closely connected with the "Hell on wheels". He starts to keep order in the town, solving internal and external problems of the encampment: protecting the inhabitants from blood feud, eliminating danger of the attack from Indians and bandits, reconciling old-timers with aggressive newcomers.
