Film description:

In Major Crimes season 2 Captain Sharon Raydor has managed to achieve harmony in working with her subordinates and to gain their undoubted trust. At first the detectives who had been working under the guidance of Brenda Leigh Johnson before she left were wary about the new captain, but Sharon was able to enter into effective cooperation with them. Nearly every case of captain Raydor is finished with a deal and the state doesn’t have to spend a lot of costs on long-term proceedings and custody. Teenage Rusty Beck, who has been moving around different host families for many years, becomes a key witness for an important case. Now he is under captain Raydor’s guidance. However, the captain doen’t know that Rusty is permanently in danger – he receives threatening letters and hides them from both Sharon and other detectives. When the threats are finally uncovered, Deputy District Attorney Emma Rios intends to place Rusty under witness protection programs. But he is vigorously opposed to it as in this case he will lose the last chance to ever meet his mother again. Tired of being constantly followed by guard, Rusty suggests a more risky option – to catch the persecutors on live bait…
