Grey's Anatomy season 9 continues to focus on Seattle Grace-Mercy West Hospital doctors. Cristina lives and works in Minnesota. She hasn’t seen Meredith ever since she left as she is afraid of planes. Alex blames himself for Arizona’s severe injury. Owen offers April to go back to hospital. The plane crash victims now have to make a decision and either accept compensation offered by the Airline Company or find out the reasons of the crash. Cristina becomes a team player. Meredith becomes the new Bailey; she receives new interns who give her a nickname "Medusa" for her severity. Among the rookies id Jo Wilson whom Meredith drives to tears during a surgery. Derek hasn’t performed surgeries in a long time due to an arm injury and now he is nervous about his first surgery after the interruption.
