Film description:

Dexter Morgan, forensic expert in Miami police specialized in blood splatters. As a child he witnessed dreadful events which left him without parents. He got adopted by Harry Morgan who soon realized that there is something wrong with the boy. Dexter hardly ever shows normal human emotions; he is apt to sociopathy and time after time he tends to express thirst for murder. Harry Morgan understood that the boy won’t be able to get rid of this terrible desire and thus decided to take advantage of it. Dexter will now direct his energy at finding and killing criminals which the police haven’t been able to catch. Because harry is a policeman himself, he has taught his adopted son to hide evidence and to avoid suspicion while pretending to live a normal life. Dexter follows father’s instructions rigorously calling them “The Code of Harry”. He watches his victims carefully and murders them only if he is convinced that they are guilty. He carefully dismembers bodies and gets rid of corpses. In order to create the image of a “normal person” he even gets a girlfriend, Rita Bennett, who suffered from her husband alcoholic in the past. She is trying to avoid intimacy which completely satisfies Dexter.
