Film description:

"Weeds" is a black humor comedy series which follows a bourgeois housewife Nancy Botwin who has everything: a loving husband, two sons and all other attributes of American suburban wellbeing: a big house, neatly mowed lawn, an expensive car and a club membership. All of a sudden, Nancy’s husband dies and the family is left broke. What are they to do? Move into a tiny apartment? Say goodbye to the dream of giving kids good education? Nancy won’t let it happen! In order to remain afloat, Nancy Botwin is prepared to do anything for her family, even trading marihuana. A former highly educated and exemplary housewife becomes a drug dealer. Her suburban neighbors are bored with their lives and thus Nancy’s new business is full of clients. The business is growing rapidly and soon Nancy finds herself owing her own plantation. But the drug dealer’s profession is known to be dangerous for a good reason. Will Nancy be able to reach success in this field or will she make a fatal mistake and end up in prison?
