Film description:

The plot of "Chicago P.D." follows the employees of a police department in Chicago. The department consists of 2 groups of police officers of different authority levels. There are officers who patrol the streets, protecting the city from domestic crimes. But there is also a team of high professionals who fight such major crimes as organized crime, drug-trafficking and murders. The leader of this team is sergeant Hank Voight. He's a head of the Chicago Police Department's Intelligence Unit. Difficult professional duties turn into serious emotional challenges for the policemen, affecting their private lives outside the department. Despite that, just like everywhere else, everybody is willing to get a higher position. Street cops are dreaming of making it to the elite. TV show is a spin-off of the "Chicago Fire".
