Billionaire Oliver Queen for many years had been missing as a result of a shipwreck. He was discovered on one of the remote uninhabited islands of the Pacific. After his return home to his native Starling City, his mother, sister and best friend begin to suspect that Oliver hides from them something and gradually realize that after a shipwreck, he became a different person. When Oliver learns that his hometown has changed dramatically, and not for the better, he decides to fight evil, using his new skill that he had acquired during life on the island. During the day, Oliver leads the same life as before, but at night - he transforms into a fighter for justice under the name Arrow. He is armed with only a bow and arrows.
