Film description:

After Charlie is killed in a subway accident in Paris, Alan faces the tough realities of moving out of the beach house, as well as losing his only sibling. Although he did inherit the residence, Alan finds out that the house has multiple mortgages on it, and since he is unable to pay it, he and Jake have to leave the house and move in with Evelyn. Soon after, however, a suicidal young man named Walden Schmidt, who turns out to be a billionaire, shows up on the deck after a failed suicide attempt. The two broken-hearted men form a friendship, leading to Schmidt offering to buy the house.
