Film description:

TV show "Falling Skies" tells a story about the consequences of alien invasion which destroyed the majority of human population on Earth and deactivated the entire power system and all the technologies. The action in the TV series begins 6 months after the invasion when a small group of survivors join their efforts in resistance movement against the occupants. Every single day is a survival test. Tom Mason is a history teacher from Boston who got separated from his family. His wife was killed in the first days of the attack and one of the three sons was captured. Impelled by the will to get his son back and protect the other two, Tom has to use his broad knowledge of military history as he is now one of the leaders of the 2nd Massachusetts resistance.
