Film description:

TV series "Continuum" begins in 2077, when eight people from Liber8 group were accused of terrorism and sentenced to death. However, they are not willing to die. Instead, the terrorists came up with a cunning plan to escape into the past. A police officer Kiera Cameron chases after them and goes back in time to year 2012. Kiera joins the local police in Vancouver to catch the criminals. Alec Sadler, a young computer genius, also comes for help. As the Liber8 extremists claim, they ran into the past in order to change the future and save the mankind. But will they be able to succeed in this? It’s hard for people from the present to understand what motivates the eight terrorists to give up an incalculable amount of innocent human lives for the greater freedom…
