Orange is the New Black is based on a true story, which tells about the everyday life of a young woman in prison. The basis of the TV series is an autobiographical novel by American writer Piper Kerman. Attractive young woman named Piper Chapman lived a full life - she loved her husband, enjoyed every day, along with his girlfriend planned to start their own business selling soap. But sometimes fate presents such tests, which no one expected. Ten years ago, Piper was young, free and reckless. She happened to fall in love with a girl, embroiled in drug trafficking. Striking brunette Alex Vause won the Piper's heart, but - even worse - forced her to help in the drug case. Many years later, Piper rarely recalled that period of her life and she was sure that a small stain on the reputation of the good citizen will never be made public. But everything turned out differently. After 10 years, justice suddenly burst into Piper's life: she was arrested and sentenced to 15 months imprisonment in the women's prison.
