Film description:

The events turn around Elizabeth Thatcher, young teacher, the girl from rich family, who is going to the her first destination to the miner town Coal Valley, where people live simple life, but full of problems. There she gets acquainted with contrary widows of miners – Abigail and Cat. Elizabeth is eager to prove her family that she’s strong enough to live on her own, to struggle with her own fears and hesitations. When she finds her aunt’s Elizabeth dairy, then she finds out that that one was the first woman teacher in frontier zone who struggled with provincial life and was in love with Mountie, the policeman of Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Elizabeth, inspired her aunt, decided to start her own adventure with the help of the dairy. When Calls the Heart is an american drama tv series, based on book of Janette Oke.
